Participation this year was nearly three times higher than in 2022.
90% of parents rate Cranbury College “very good” or higher and 54% rate it as “excellent”. In addition, 89% would recommend the College to other parents.
100% of parents agree that
- The school supports their SEND child well.
- The school supports their child with mental health issues well.
- Communication with parents is clear and effective.
90% or more parents agree that
- The range of enrichment and extracurricular activities is appropriate.
- The school supports their child to become a positive young adult and citizen.
- The school understands what they can do to help my child succeed.
- My child understands what they need to do to improve their work.
- My child feels safe at this school.
- Education about drugs, knife crime and gangs is good.
- Any concerns raised with the school have been dealt with properly.
- The school lets them know how their child is doing.
- They are confident that their child will do well when they move on.
- The school is ambitious for their child.
Priorities set by parents for 2022-2023:
- Further improvements in the curriculum and its delivery (and assessment) in all year groups.
- Implementation of structured reading and maths programmes to ensure catch up for those who need to develop basic fluency.
- Clarity for parents about their child’s curriculum.
- Further improvements on helping pupils and students with self-regulation and independence (especially in primary and Key Stage 3).
- Clarification of anti bullying messages and the policy and procedures.
These will form part of our School Improvement Planning and will be reviewed next year.
