Secondary | Reading | Short-stay Secondary Pathway
A short-stay secondary pathway that helps young people without a permanent school placement continue their learning, address gaps, make progress and move to their next permanent placement within one term.
Learning is tailored to individual needs and interests, with qualifications including Functional Skills, AQA Unit Awards and vocational qualifications enabling achievement and confidence-building at every step.
Alongside learning, enrichment plays a significant role in the programme. Through community projects and our six enrichment pillars, young people develop social and practical skills, gain a better understanding of themselves and others, learn about rules and boundaries, become more independent, and prepare for adulthood and future opportunities.
