Headteacher - mrs c willmott
 

Mrs Willmott started her career as an English teacher 14 years ago, after graduating from St Mary's University, Twickenham, with a BA (hons) degree in English.  Mrs Willmott has undertaken a variety of roles including Head of Year, SENCO, Head of Inclusion, Assistant Head and Deputy Head in various schools across the Trust she previously worked for in both primary and secondary phase.  During this time, Mrs Willmott completed her National Award for SENCO Award and her NPQSL and was trust lead for Alternative Provision.

Mrs Willmott's main aim as a leader in the education system is to make a difference to all stakeholders she works with; she is proud of the relationships she works hard to develop with staff, students and parents alike and will continue to prioritise these relationships as she leads Cranbury College as Headteacher.

Deputy Headteacher- Ms c Baggley 

Ms Baggley has been in the education system for 16 years, initially starting as an English teacher in a mainstream setting. She then became a Head of Year to 270 students where she was responsible for their pastoral care and individual needs. She completed this role for 9 years, ensuring high standards of behaviour and expectations, where students could access an education with the care and support they needed to move forward with their next steps. 

Ms Baggley then turned her attention to working as a Behaviour Lead for 2000 students, ensuring the school had a clear plan and support mechanisms to support students with their behavioural needs.

Ms Baggley has worked as a Safeguarding Lead for 10 years and continues with this work to date as Designated Safeguarding Lead at Cranbury College. 
 

Assistant Headteacher- Ms L Whitehorn

Assistant Headteacher- Mr A Sparks 

Mr Sparks has eight years of experience in education within the Maiden Erlegh Trust and is passionate about helping young people re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes. After earning a BA (Hons) in Drama from the University of Central Lancashire, Mr Sparks trained at the University of Reading, qualifying as a Secondary Drama teacher in 2017.

Mr Sparks' roles have spanned teaching, curriculum, and pastoral leadership, with a focus on inclusion, behaviour, and personal development:

  • Drama Teacher: Used creative approaches to build trust, confidence, and communication skills in students who struggled with traditional learning.

  • Head of Department – Drama and Personal Development: Designed an inclusive curriculum embedding personal development, supported staff through coaching, planning, and quality assurance.

  • Head of Year: Oversaw behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and wellbeing, collaborating with families and agencies to support students with complex needs.

As Assistant Headteacher at Cranbury College, Mr Sparks prioritises ready, safe and respectful environments, believing that strong relationships, clear boundaries, and high expectations help students rebuild confidence, develop self-regulation, and prepare for their next steps.

School Business manager - Miss A Kendall 

Miss Kendall started her career in retail as an Assistant Business Manager before moving to the education sector in 2020.  She joined Cranbury College as an Administrator then maternity cover as Office Manager/PA to the Headteacher.  

In 2023, Miss Kendall moved to the role of School Business Manager and undertook on the job studies to gain her Level 4 School Business Professional qualification to support her development. She is now studying for her Level 6 System Improvement Leader qualification to continue to support the growth of Cranbury College provision.

Miss Kendall has a strong dedication to seeing Cranbury College succeed and takes pride in working behind the scenes to support both staff and students, ensuring they have the resources, systems and provision they deserve.
