OUR COVID RESPONSE
We are continuing to develop our work as a school in response to the COVID emergency.
On this page you will find links to policy amendments, a summary of our contingency planning (in case of future lock-downs) and our COVID Risk Assessment. We have also included links to other sources of information related to the COVID emergency.
Cranbury College Covid-19 Contingency Plan
Cranbury College site will remain open to students, unless the government instruct a local or national lockdown to include alternative provision schools or unless a number of school staff are self-isolating, meaning that we have to introduce partial or full temporary closure of the site.
Partial closure, e.g. alternating key stages on site, may take place if levels of staff sickness/self-isolating absence means it is not safe to accommodate the whole school on site; full closure of the site may take place if staff sickness absence makes this necessary.
Parents and students will be notified in the event of a temporary closure. The website will also be updated to reflect this.
As soon as a partial or full temporary closure takes place, the school will switch to remote teaching by offering live lesson available on Microsoft Teams or uploading work to the platform, all students have password access to Teams. Students and parents who request hard copy work packs instead will be provided with these and feedback will be given by teachers for all work completed by students.
